What they asked us to do
Blind Veterans UK is a fantastic charity that supports vision impaired ex-Servicemen and women. At the time of this project their messaging lacked consistency or strength, making it difficult to communicate the importance of supporters’ contributions.
Our task was to Improve the clarity and structure of their impact report, demonstrating to existing supporters the tangible difference their generosity makes, while also inspiring potential supporters to engage with the charity’s vital work.
What we did
We began by reviewing the charity’s previous impact report and provided a series of recommendations to improve its messaging and structure.
Next, we edited the raw content to give it greater energy and make it more accessible and engaging for readers.
We also developed compelling case studies that focused on the life-changing support blind veterans had received – shifting the emphasis away from military service records to the personal impact of the charity’s work.
Finally, we brought the report to life with eye-catching headlines, powerful statistics and impactful quotes to help guide readers through the content and keep them engaged.
What they thought
Blind Veterans UK were extremely pleased with the new structure of the impact report, as well as the clarity and energy of the refreshed content.
They particularly valued how the report placed supporters at the heart of the narrative – highlighting the vital role they play in making the charity’s life-changing services possible.
